Our commitment

CarCoverCompass is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply relevant accessibility standards.

Standards we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.

Measures we take

• Semantic HTML structure with headings, landmarks and labels to support screen readers;
• Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms and interactive elements, with visible focus indicators;
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden labels for decorative graphics;
• Color combinations chosen for sufficient contrast;
• Form fields with clear labels and error messages that are announced to assistive technology;
• Support for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system, which minimizes animations on the Site; and
• Responsive layouts that work with browser zoom and on mobile devices.

Compatibility

The Site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers. Older browsers and some assistive technologies may not support every feature.
